Christmas Charity & Community Work

Hi Guys!

This weekend I made an appearance in my local community centre The Hub at Ashmore Park to attend the Christmas table top fair and also meet an extraordinary little boy called Aaron who is determined to donate as much food as possible to the local food bank.

Originally I saw what Aaron was trying to do via a simple Facebook share and it really touched my heart. As you might know I love being involved in charity and community work and really wanted to help donate to the cause as well as to hopefully meet Aaron.

So I contacted his Mother straight away and I was delighted that Gemma was really happy for me to stop by. So me and my Nan went down with a box of canned foods, biscuits and more.  Straight away I got to meet Aaron and as you can see we had a bit of fun...

We spoke for a while and I told him how he was doing such an amazing job by rallying the community together to help provide food for those less fortunate then others. Aaron wanted to show me around the hall so I could see what local small businesses were selling.

He was so cute he basically showed me his favourite stalls which included lots of sweets and children toys. I have to say, Aaron was a delightful guide and really think his parents should be very proud of his thoughts towards helping others and has fabulous manners.

Myself and my Nan spent a good hour talking to everyone and buying what we could - we honestly didn't expect to buy as much as we did haha - but we had such a lovely afternoon and even took a break to drink tea and eat some tea cakes.

I adore attending things like this not just in my community but everywhere and it was such a nice Saturday afternoon for us. I got to speak to some key figures in the community and hopefully will be meeting them soon for more events to possibly sing or make another appearance as Miss Mystic Beauty 1st Runner up/People's Choice.

As Christmas is just around the corner I really urge anyone reading this post to think about contributing something to the less fortunate in anyway they can, because there are so many out there that can benefit from things such as this.
